Decora Smart Zigbee dimmers are designed to dim LED, CFL and Incandescent lighting loads. These are the most popular types of lighting fixtures and bulbs for residential applications. Some specialty fixtures require an ELV (Electronic Low Voltage) dimmer. If your lighting fixture requires ELV control add a Leviton Power Extender. The PE400 can be installed in a 2 gang electrical box and is wired between the Zigbee Dimmer and the ELV fixture. The PE400 is designed to accept the output from a traditional dimmer and provide the proper electrical output to drive an ELV load.
Dimming using 0-10v technology uses a 3rd dedicated conductor between the dimmer and lighting load the carries a 0-10v control signal. For applications which will use a 0-10v controlled fixture add a Leviton PE300. The PE300 accepts the output from a traditional Leviton dimmer and outputs 0-10v control. Wire between the Decora Smart Zigbee dimmer and the 0-10v fixture.
